How does the material insulate against the cold?
The fleece component's mission is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (described as "scratchy" when it's made up of loops). This air keeps the body warm thanks to its natural insulating power.
How is heat measured?
Our fleeces undergo 2 tests: a material test and another on a dummy in a thermal chamber, simulating mountain conditions.
These tests validate the design, confirmed by testers in real-life conditions. Comfort guaranteed between 10 and 13°C, choose your usual size.
Breathable fleece, what's it for?
Who hasn't sweated while hiking? It's inevitable with sustained effort. That's why we've equipped our garments with breathable side panels that effectively wick away moisture. With this guarantee, you can enjoy dry, comfortable rides.
How is breathability measured?

We test the durability of our fleeces by checking:
- the resistance to abrasion caused by backpacking and arm movements to prevent pilling;
- the strength of the seams;
- the resistance of the material and colors to washing, UV rays and perspiration.
How do I wash my fleece jacket?
Because you're not immune to getting dirty on a hike, this fleece is perfectly tolerant of washing at 40°. Just remember to close the zips and turn it inside out before putting it in the machine. Avoid exceeding 1000 rpm for the spin cycle, as well as the tumble dryer.
