TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Cut

The cut has been specifically designed by our design team to combine technicality and femininity: close to the body without being too tight, to be feminine and comfortable while hiking. The length of the back ensures good coverage of the lumbar vertebrae to protect them from the cold, and the hood also provides better thermal insulation.
You can choose your usual size.

HOW DOES MATERIAL INSULATE AGAINST THE COLD?

The purpose of the fleece component is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (described as scraped when it's made up of loops); this air keeps the body warm thanks to its insulating power.

How is heat measured?

2 types of tests are carried out to measure the warmth level of our fleeces:
- a material test
- a test on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamberWe reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions you would encounter in the mountains during a 5 km/h walk
These tests validate our design choices, and everything is validated by female field testers
This fleece has a comfort temperature of between 10 and 13°C (without a jacket over it).

HOW IS BREATHABILITY MEASURED?

A fabric's breathability is its capacity to evacuate water vapor generated by perspiration. During intense effort, it is therefore essential to wear breathable clothing to avoid getting wet.
Breathability is measured by the RET, the resistance a fabric offers to the evacuation of moisture. The lower this coefficient, the more breathable the fabric:
RET ≤ 3: extremely breathable fabric
RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabric
RET ≤ 12: breathable fabric
etc.

HOW DO YOU TEST RESISTANCE?

We age-test our hiking fleeces to guarantee their resistance over time. We guarantee:
- resistance to abrasion from backpacks and arms in motion, to delay the appearance of pilling
- RESISTANCE of seams
- resistance of fleece material after washing
- colorfastness after washing, in the face of UV rays or contact with perspiration.
