How can I be sure that my baby will be warm and cozy when sledding in the snow?
Our designers use wadding to keep the body warm. This polyester-based synthetic component stores air according to its thickness. So, the thicker the wadding, the more air it contains, and the more insulating it is. The baby ski jacket uses 150 g/m² wadding.
How can I be sure that my baby will be dry when sledging in the snow?
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure expressed in mm water column (test based on ISO 811). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a waterproof rating of 2,000 mm will therefore withstand the pressure exerted by 2,000 mm of water. A guarantee of this coat's quality.
How can I make sure that my baby doesn't lose his mittens and always keeps his hands warm and dry?
Use the ingenious system to attach the Wedze baby mittens to the sleeves of your child's baby ski suit or jacket Wedze.
Thanks to the playful design of the accessories, your child in search of independence will be able to attach the mittens to the sleeves without making a mistake! Simply match the colors and animal heads will form.
Mittens will always be to hand, and in the right hands!
Mittens are not included in the purchase of the baby ski jacket.
How do you dress your babies to keep them warm on your sledging outings?
To stay warm and dry, simply apply the 3-layer rule:
- Layer 1, or thermal underwear, to keep you dry.
- Layer 2, or insulating layer, to keep you warm.
- Layer 3 to protect you from the elements.
What is water repellency?
A water-repellent fabric lets water slide off its surface, without absorbing it: the textile doesn't become waterlogged, and remains light and breathable. You can see water droplets beading and trickling down the surface of the fabric. Water repellency is achieved by a treatment applied to the outside of the fabric. This treatment needs to be renewed over the life of the garment (every 3 washes).
How to reactivate water repellency?
To reactivate water-repellency, we recommend that you wash your returned garment on a synthetic program at 30°C and rinse thoroughly. You can use your usual detergent, but not fabric softener. Leave your coat to air-dry flat on a drying rack. Finally, tumble dry your garment right-side-up on low heat for 10 minutes. The heat will reactivate the fabric's water-repellent properties.
Where can I write my baby's name on this baby ski jacket?
A space allows you to write your child's name to personalize the product. A useful tip for finding your baby's ski coat at nursery or day-care.
How is the waterproofness of this baby ski jacket tested?
The impermeability of a fabric, ensured by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H20 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher the number, the more waterproof the fabric.
This baby suit is designed with a coated waterproof component (JIS 1092 standard): this component resists 5000 mm H20 (Schmerber) before washing (i.e. the pressure exerted by 5 meters of water column).
