TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Visibility standard EN17353

The visibility of this jacket has been certified by an external Finnish laboratory to the demanding EN1150 standard, guaranteeing high visibility by day (thanks to the fluorescent yellow color) and by night (thanks to the powerful reflective elements). The standard also requires 360° visibility. So you'll always be visible to motorists, whatever the conditions.

The functions of a cycling jacket

This 3rd layer is the one that protects you from external aggressors such as cold and wind, while retaining the warmth and breathability benefits of the lower layers. By using the right cycling jacket, your performance and comfort will remain the same, whatever the weather conditions.
This RC500 cycling jacket keeps you warm with its integrated, removable collar cover. Mechanical vents let you wick away perspiration.

Heat

A product's ability to protect against the cold. This depends on the component's thermal resistance and air permeability. The higher the thermal resistance, the more the product retains the heat generated by the body while cycling.

Component breathability

Maintenance tips

Machine wash at 30°. Synthetic program. Turn product inside out. Use little washing powder. Do not use fabric softener. Hang to dry in a warm, ventilated place. Do not tumble dry. No dry-cleaning. Do not use chlorine. Do not place on a radiator.

What is a "softshell"?

A "softshell" is a windproof garment that is often stretchable to allow maximum freedom of movement. A softshell is water-repellent (protection against light rain or road spray), but not waterproof like a hardshell. On the other hand, the membrane provides good breathability (capacity to let water vapor generated by the body escape) and is therefore well suited to sporting activities.
