BOLD DESIGN CHOICES
Sometimes being daring means being different. At Van Rysel , performance is what drives us, and on a winter jacket that means warmth without compromise.
No compromise on warmth with KIMA TOPLIGHT, a thin, light and windproof component
No compromise on breathability with MATRIX, a particularly breathable component on the upper back and under the arms
No compromise on aerodynamics, the jacket is slim and fitted
with a "long tail" cut.
WHAT IS THE PRO FIT CUT?
The PRO FIT cut is the cut of Van Rysel products. It's a cut designed for cyclists who want a close-fitting garment but don't want to be constrained.
This jacket is designed to be worn only with a technical undergarment. If you're thinking of wearing it with a second layer, don't hesitate to go up a size!
The PRO FIT cut is aimed at regular cyclists, so if you think you need more volume, go up a size too.
THE DETAILS THAT MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE
This jacket is different because we have taken care of every detail:
- A garage for the zipper at the bottom so as not to damage your shorts
- A garage for the zipper at the top so as not to irritate your neck
- Soft, elastic cuffs at the bottom of the sleeves
- Cords on the zippers to make them easier to grip with gloves.
POCKETS
The jacket has 7 pockets:
Two small side pockets that can be used as trash pockets.
A block of 5 rear pockets, which can be broken down as follows:
- two food and/or small equipment pockets
- a closed pocket for phone/key/cards
- a double wired pocket for gloves, hats or other accessories.

RACER OR RACER XTREM JACKET, WHICH TO CHOOSE?
These two jackets are very different, 340 g for the racer jacket versus double 680 g for the XTREM jacket.
The RACER jacket is a very effective second skin for mid-season and mild winter outings. Below 7°C, it shows its limitations, and we enter the territory of the XTREM jacket.
Please note that these jackets are water-repellent, not waterproof, so we recommend that you take an ultra-light rain jacket with you if the weather looks wet.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To keep your jacket in perfect condition for many years, we recommend machine-washing at 30°C on the synthetic program. Wash with the zipper closed.
Do not tumble dry or use fabric softener! No dry-cleaning either.
Hang to dry in an airy room.
