CUTTING INFORMATION
Our model wears a size M top and a size M bottom. He is 1.74 metres tall.
ABRASION-RESISTANT
selected a tightly woven fabric.
The result? This is a true mountain bike rain jacket that resists the various abrasions encountered during your mountain bike outings (water bag straps, branches...).
WHAT IS WATERPROOF FABRIC?
Waterproofing is the ability of a fabric to stop the passage of rain. We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure expressed in mm water column (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the value, the more impermeable the fabric.
The component used has an impermeability value of 10,000 mm, which means it can withstand the pressure of a column of 10,000 mm of water (roughly equivalent to a heavy thunderstorm).
BREATHABLE FABRIC
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on ISO 11092).
The component used has a breathability value (RET) of 6 on a scale of 40

The lower the resistance, the more the fabric allows water vapor generated by the active body to escape.
We consider that for:
RET ≤ 3 = extremely breathable fabric
RET ≤ 6= very breathable fabric
RET ≤ 12= breathable fabric
RET ≤ 20 = not very breathable fabric
WHAT IS A 3-LAYER JACKET?
The AM MTB jacket is made with a 3-Layer membrane.
What does this mean?
- 3 layers: the membrane is bonded between the outer and inner fabric. Used for tough, high-performance jackets.
- 2.5 layers: the membrane is bonded under the outer fabric, protected by a thin film on the inside. Used for lightweight jackets.
- 2 layers: the membrane is bonded to the outer fabric only.
THE POCKETS
A pocket with waterproof zip is positioned on the chest for easy access when wearing a backpack or fanny pack. In the pocket, you can hang your keys and place your phone in a specific slot to prevent it from moving during your mountain biking outing.
The main zipper has a double slider for bottom opening and optimal ventilation when climbing. Zipper pulls are easy to manipulate, even when wearing gloves.
TRIMMING AND CUTTING
The cut is tailored to take full advantage of the stretch component.
The raglan sleeves run up to the neckline (for the cycling position). This makes them stretchy, giving you more freedom of movement when riding. Under this jacket, wear a light, thin 1st layer and/or a light 2nd layer.
A HOOD FOR MOUNTAIN BIKING
The volume of the hood allows you to wear a helmet, which is essential for mountain biking.
Height and depth adjustments allow you to adjust the volume to suit your needs.
A semi-rigid visor enhances forehead and eye protection. The collar rises high to provide good protection for the lower part of the face.
The little detail that makes all the difference: the rounded side of the hood provides better visibility to the sides during your ride.
AN INSERT FOR YOUR WATER BAG HOSE
An elastic loop on the chest of the jacket allows you to slide the hose from your water pouch.
