TECHNICAL INFORMATION

What is this child's roller skate designed for?

Roller skate, quad, roller skates - for starters, these 3 terms mean the same thing. This quad 100, also known as a fitness quad, is first and foremost a versatile roller skate for your child's first or occasional inline skating. When designing it, we focused above all on comfort. So your child can concentrate on the pleasure of gliding. The vintage touch on this roller sneaker is a nod to the roller skates of the 80s.

What's the difference between a fitness quad and an artistic roller skate?

Are you hesitating between this model and the artistic model with the heel?
The artistic quad is designed differently. It sits higher on the ankle, has a small heel and its brake is closer to the ground. This design is primarily regulated by the practice of artistic roller skating.
The fitness quad, a more versatile skate for urban strolling, disco roller skating, a few steps of roller dancing or cruising. It's as comfortable as a sneaker, but with wheels.

What protection should you wear to start cruising on roller skates?

As with all snow sports, falling can be part of the learning process (and even at an advanced level). To protect yourself as much as possible, we recommend wearing at least: knee protectors, wrist protectors and a helmet. Elbow protectors and protective shorts can also be valuable allies when balance is still a problem. And even if you're not at the top of your game, your joints will thank you.

How is this quad designed?

Boot: synthetic PU.
Brake: POLYURETHANE (does not leave marks on floors).
Chassis/Trucks: high-impact PP.
Wheels: injected PU.

This roller skate is certified to EN 13899. What does this standard cover?

How to replace wearing parts

Spare parts (54mm wheels, ABEC 5 or ABEC 7 bearings) are available in stores and on the Internet. We advise you to change wheels regularly to even out wear. The same goes for brakes: by swapping left and right brakes, wear becomes more even and you prolong the life of these consumables.

Warranty

2 years except wearing parts (wheels, brakes, bearings)
