Extend the life of your cargo bike with proper maintenance

To ensure that your cargo bike lasts as long as possible, it's essential to maintain it properly. If you have an electrically-assisted model, you should remove the battery and switch off your bike before carrying out any work on it. A monthly check of tire pressure is recommended, as is occasional maintenance of the transmission.

Clean and lubricate the chain, especially if you're riding on muddy or dusty roads. Store your cargo bike in a dry place, protected from the elements. Finally, if you're not going to be using the electric assistance for a month or more, remember to switch to "extended standby" mode to avoid any malfunctions.
