Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are "pretty much best friends". While vitamin D3, for example, plays a crucial role in calcium absorption in the body, "finished" calcium is integrated into the bones thanks to vitamin K2. Perfect D3+K2 teamwork! In many other protein biosynthesis processes, the two friends play a common role and complement each other, which is why our vitamin D3 tablets also contain an adequate amount of K2. Vitamin K2 is also essential for regulating optimal blood coagulation, which is important for cardiovascular health.
The beneficial effect of vitamin D3 + K2 tablets can be reversed, i.e. in the case of significant vitamin D3 deficiency: fatigue, muscle weakness or cramps, increased susceptibility to infections and general weakening of the immune system. Vitamin D deficiency generally occurs when the body is exposed to too little sunlight or daylight and the associated activating UV rays.
